Accommodations

The Poster Room

Also known as Paula’s room, this space is a tranquil escape from the madness of the Magnolia Inn lobby and kitchen. The art and color on display in this space is reminiscent of the warmth of a countryside chalet.

The Happy Room

The Happy Room boasts a suite of amenities including (but not limited to) a full bathroom and private access to the ice box. This space is ideal for those seeking a street-facing view in the event that you would like to keep an eye on who is entering and exiting the inn. For patrons seeking entertainment and refreshments during their stay, this room is the easiest to locate at the end of a rowdy evening, directly facing the top of the stairs.

The Ice Box Suite

The Ice Box suite is the first room to earn a name from the patrons of the inn. Husband has not yet figured out the nuanced art of insulation, and this addition to the inn has earned a reputation for it’s privacy, quirkiness, and yes, cold temperatures in the evenings. The Ice Box also has access to an en suite bathroom, and a full desk and workspace for travelers requiring access to these amenities.

The Rosie Room

The Rosie Room is among the many accommodations at the Magnolia Inn that serves two functions: a beautiful and comfortable room for visitors, and a fully equipped scrapbooking studio for the innkeeper in the off-season. This room features a walk-out patio to the beautiful backyard, and easy access to the basement amenities.

The Processing Room

The Processing room is home to an eclectic collection of the early stylings of renowned artist, Clark Billups, and the unsorted tax filings of our superintendent (Husband). Although the Innkeeper has requested more organization of the basic accounting, visitors can get an inside look if they are so inclined. This room is centrally located and ideal for sleepers who prefer absolute darkness, as it does not have windows. Ideal for guests with pets.

The Basement Dormitory

Utilized for high-volume Inn events, the basement dormitory is a temporary installation with a wide array of sleeping accommodations. Though setup is often required prior to rest, these spaces are ideal for visitors set on recreation and social functions. Literally steps away from a game of pool or poker, visitors housed in the Basement Dormitory are the life of the party (or trying very hard to get it to stop so they can get some shut eye).
